Natural help with the Menopause. As An alternate to HRT.
This information is to offer you the choice of menopausal symptom relief. Do not stop taking your HRT without getting your GP’s advice Self Help Some things you can do for yourself, that take a natural approach to relieving common menopausal symptoms. · Soya, dairy free alternative to milk. If I could only recommend one product that can have a very beneficial effect on the relief of menopausal symptoms it would be to increase your daily intake of Soya products, these are naturally occurring plant hormones that work in a similar way to the female hormone oestrogen, (which is reduced throughout the menopause) and helps combat hot flushes and mood swings. · Women often do not give enough time for themselves, particularly at this time of their life. I would recommend giving yourself time for aromatherapy, using chamomile, rose, cypress and bergamot to sooth and calm yourself. · Here again a time thing. Exercise can have a wonderful effect on so many symptoms. Regular walking is ideal. 20 minutes’ brisk walk each day will make you feel better, help any weight problems, maintain bone density, help your joints and improve your heart, lung and circulation function.
