Pain Relief (and so much more) by AcuScen

 This hand held device gives the latest form of low level (BIO-FEEDBACK) electro-therapy. Particularly effective for ACUTE/CHRONIC PAIN, such as BACK PAIN, ARTHRITIS PAIN or a general ALTERNATIVE MEDICAL THERAPY and HOLISTIC THERAPY.

By using impulses of variable energy and form (working within the concept of Traditional Chinese Medicine TCM), it has proven highly effective in producing long term anti-inflamatory, anti-oedema (tissue fluid dispersal) and pain relieving effects, plus sedation or stimulation of the immune and encocrine systems. 

The AcuScen is a member of the SCENAR technology, originally invented by Russian scientists for use by cosmonauts in their Space programme. A small device was required to treat any health problems that they might endure and has proved its high efficiency in the treatment of many body malfunctions.

The AcuScen stands for Adaptive Compact Universal Self-Correcting Neuro-stimulator; this stimulation involves a bipolar electrical impulse (similar to the natural impulse of the neural cells). It is a computer controlled bio-feedback system which gives a modulated frequency treatment which produces a constantly varying signal, instructing the nervous system to produce neuropeptides, and is used extensively by medical practitioners in many parts of Europe, where it is regarded as a mainstream treatment.

The AcuScen promotes healing by stimulating the cells to heal themselves; electrical impulses stimulate or modulate the body’s systems, normalising microcirculation and metabolism. This can have the effect of anti-inflammatory, anti-swelling, anti-allergic or pain-relief. As a result homeostasis is gradually and gently restored.

As the AcuScen impulses are similar to the body's natural electrical emissions this therapy is safe and will not cause structural damage. The only individuals that may be adversely affected are those with a pacemaker.

A hand held device, about the size of a TV control, is held against the skin, near the problem area. A very low voltage is passed into the body to find the normal cell electrical output, after which the programmed device is moved to the problem area so that treatment can commence. There may be a slight tingling sensation, but no pain involved.

Treatment entails a partnership between the operator and recipient. That means you need to actively participate in the recovery process. Toxic chemical compounds are released by the cells, not only from the problem area but also from other areas of the body. This can often bring old, forgotten problems to the surface. Drinking plenty of pure water to eliminate these toxins is essential. I suggest 1.5-2 litres per day of pure water. For best results it is advised not to eat a large meal or have a bath or shower, for two hours pre and post treatment.

A course of treatment will vary for every individual, taking into account such factors as the severity problem, whether recent (acute) or of long term (chronic), the person's age and state of general health etc. In order to improve the energy flow to the effected area, AcuScen therapy should be given regularly, acute may require 2-3 times a week, and be controlled in one week, whereas chronic may require weekly therapy for 2-3 weeks, at the therapist’s discretion.
